¡Renaixençâ! / Renaissance!

Welcome to the rebirth of Talossan Defencism. The PVZT (Defencist Unity Party of Talossa) is the successor party to the ZRT (Defenders of the Talossan Republic), which from 2006 to 2008 was the largest and most successful party in the Republic, providing Talossa with three Senescháis (Prime Ministers).

The PVZT is a completely different entity from the ZRT, not least because we aim to put cultural activity before political activity - and we have no intention of getting involved in politics at federal level in the forseeable future. However, we still stand in the tradition of the Defencist Manifesto, as adopted by the ZRT at its foundation in August 2006. While we reserve the right to change our mind on the details, we still commit to the seven principles of the Manifesto:

1. Nationalism
2. Traditionalism
3. Pretentiousness
4. Republican dirigism
5. National unity
6. Diversity
7. Outwards focus

Given the above intend to stand for a cultural tradition of proud, intransigent pride in the Talossan Republic; devotion to traditional forms of being Talossan, including grandiloquent political gestures and the Traditional form of the Talossan language. We believe in an activist government that takes the responsibility to make things happen, at provincial as well as federal level, and as we currently hold the reigns of power in Great Southern Province, we will attempt to make this happen.

The PVZT colours are yellow and black.
